Fiona Young, a masters degree RN from the U.K., has been offering a full range of massage therapies since she obtained her credential in 2006 from the Downeast School of Massage Therapy in Waldoboro. In 2010, she received her accreditation as an aesthetician from The Capilo Institute in Augusta and offers a range of skin care services. Fiona schedules appointments six days per week.
Also At The Boma Day Spa is Scarlet Ramsdell, LMT. Scarlet is a native of Blue Hill, Maine. After serving 4 years in the military, Scarlet earned a diploma in advance massage and body work from Miller-Motte Technical College in North Charleston, SC. She has been practicing massage therapy for 9 years.
Although Massage Therapy, Skin Care and Spa Body Work are the primary focus of the Boma, there are times when our clients need more than we can provide. Being able to refer them to an in-house provider whose philosophies on personal health match ours so closely, it is a “win-win for everybody.”
Acupuncturist Christine Cuneo-LaReau also has an RN background with a focus on oncology. She obtained her Masters of Acupuncture degree from the New England School of Acupuncture in Watertown, Massachusetts.
Candace Hart, D.C. has been functioning as a solo practitioner in Downtown Ellsworth since January of 2010. She is a 2008 graduate of New York Chiropractic College, and is originally from Hampden, Maine.
